If you live in Liverpool with your pooch you are very lucky to be in such a dog friendly city with plenty of options for day care, training and dog friendly pubs. Today I’m here to introduce you to the best doggy daycare Liverpool has to offer including two of our favourites – Tails in the City and the Hound Hub.

Tails in the City

Tails in the City is based near the Baltic Market and the Albert docks and opens daily from 7.30am to 6pm. This city based doggy daycare has experienced trainers and handlers to hand to help the dogs to socialise and exercise while you are at work. It’s a well contained play area for dogs with fun obstacles including tyres and the agility tunnel – they love it!

They also offer extra services including dog socialisation courses, dog wash and dog taxi (Bark and Ride!) to pick up and drop your pooch (within Liverpool only).

Prices:

  • £16 half day
  • £21.50 full day

The Hound Hub

The Hound Hub is a dog walking service based in South Liverpool that will collect your dog and do group dog walks in their private field with secured fencing. Walks are approximately 60 minutes excluding travel time. Your dog will get picked up from your home in the special kitted out Hound Hub van. As well as the group walks where the dogs can safely run free, they also offer a puppy visit service in South Liverpool. Hamish our Westie friend goes there and loves it. Sadly we live in North Liverpool so we are out of the pick up range of Hound Hub, but if we do ever move to South Liverpool we will certainly consider them!

Prices:

  • £10 pick up and group dog walk in secure field.
  • £7 for a second or third dog from the same house.
  • Puppy visits (30 mins for water top up, feeding, wee/poo and play!) £10

Precious Paws Doggy Daycare

Precious Paws doggy daycare is based in Speke and offers full day care from 7am to 7pm. They also offer puppy socialisation and dog training. They also do drop in sessions at £4 an hour. It looks like there is no secure outside space, just an indoor unit on an industrial estate. Their prices seem reasonable, but we cannot comment on their service yet as Blake nor any of his doggy friends have been here. There are no people’s names on the website so we are unsure who owns it, but if you attend Precious Paws and have had a good (or bad) experience, please let us know by commenting below.

Prices:

  • Half day £15
  • Full day £23

Faye’s Doggy Boutique

Faye’s Doggy Boutique offers a premium doggy day care Liverpool service in the Speke area of the city. The priority of Faye and her team is to make sure your dogs receive a luxury experience like no other. After an exciting day of daycare with their friends, your pooches will just want to relax and sleep when they go home!

Prices:
– Drop in (3 hours max) £10
– Half day £15
– Full day £23
